Welcome

Its a new year, a new calender, a new set of todo's and don'ts. It's an exciting time for sure! But what if your 2012 was a lot like 2011. Just another year of getting older. It's another year of disappointments and distractions. The world keeps spinning and nothing really changes. The more things change they stay the same. Why not try something different in 2012. Rocky Head is taking on a challenge to read/preach/teach through the entire Bible in 1 year. We've taken on the task because God has given us a hunger for His Word! To feed that hunger, on Sunday nights and Wednesday morning's we are studying the book "Made to Crave" that addresses the whole issue stating "Yes, we were made to crave--long for, want greatly, desire eagerly and beg for--God. Only God. But Satan wants to do everything possible to replace our craving for God with something else." Does that sound like you this New Year? In 2012, we want to see God's hand move in a mighty way. It begins by studying His Word of life so that we can see His mighty works all around. This new year, join us for a great time of study, fellowship, and worshiping Jesus Christ. He's the One we were made to crave. He is the Word become flesh. He is the One that together we serve!

Men & Boys Swamp Cookout

The annual Men & Boys' Swamp Cookout is March 3rd! Free food, music and door prize. The guest speaker is Lonnie Cochran, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Wiregrass Area Director and Campus Director at Troy University.

The annual Dale Baptist Association Women's Retreat

will be March 3rd at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Ann Varnum of Dothan will be the guest speaker.

LADIES & GIRLS MAKE YOUR PLANS TO ATTEND....

DBA Food Drive

Also during February, The Young Adult Sunday School Class is hosting a food drvie for the Dale Baptist Association's food pantry. Their ministry center is in need of canned food and non-perishable boxed food items. They also need baby food and diapers.

Sav-A-Life Shower

The Young Adult Sunday School Class will be hosting their quarterly shower for Sav-A-Life Crisis Pregnancy Center in Ozark, AL. If you would like to donate, there will be a collection box in the back hallway for diapers and wipes. We will be collecting for the month of February.

RHBC Church Council

The Church Council of RHBC will meet February 13th at 6:30pm. Please bring your calendars ready to share.

Mother's Day Out

All grade school children are invited to our Mother's Day Out program. You may drop you children off at the Rocky Head Community House from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 11thth. For more info, please call the church office.

Staff Meeting begins @ 5:30
